Fiji's former prime minister and military strongman Frank Bainimarama will be sentenced today for perverting the course of justice.
All eyes will be on the court and whether the former military commander will get a custodial sentence which has a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment.
Bainimarama was found guilty in March of directing his Police Commissioner to stop an investigation into a police complaint in 2020.
