The 2024 OFC Champions Leagues kicks off in Tahiti over the weekend, with Auckland City once again the team to beat as the Kiwi side go in search of their 12th title.

They line up in Group A alongside Solomon Warriors, Rewa from Fiji, and PNG's Hekari Utd who won the championship back in 2010.

Group B features Pirae representing the host nation, Samoa's Vaivase-Tai FC, AS Magenta from New Caledonia and Vanuatu's Ifira Black Bird who could and probably should have toppled Auckland in the semi-finals last season.

Only a last minute defensive lapse saved the New Zealanders from defeat, and OFC's Michael Wood believes the pressure will be on them again this time.
